Women's Hockey Suffers 4-2 Loss at No. 3 Colgate

HAMILTON, N.Y. – Brown women's hockey suffered a 4-2 loss at No. 3 Colgate Friday night.

Senior Olivia Williamson and sophomore Jade Iginla picked up goals for the Bears (3-4-0, 2-3-0 ECAC), while the Raiders (8-1-0, 3-0-0 ECAC) saw four different goal scorers.

Colgate got on the board with a power-play goal at the 16:01 mark of the first. The Raiders then scored two in the second period and added their final goal at 1:43 into the third to take a 4-0 advantage.

Brown got on the board at 2:25 in the third when Williamson netted her first goal of the season with assists from senior Maya Mangiafico and junior Jess Ciarrocchi.

Iginla later scored on a breakaway with an assist from senior goaltender Kaley Doyle with just under 10 minutes left in the game.

Brown faces No. 10 Cornell on Saturday at 3 p.m.
