Women's Hockey Hits the Road for Colgate and Cornell

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - After completing the home ECAC weekend sweep of Dartmouth and Harvard, Brown women's hockey is back on the road for a pair of top-10 teams at No. 3 Colgate and No. 10 Cornell. The Bears, who are undefeated at home, are searching for their first road win of the season.
Colgate enters the weekend with a 7-1-0 record with ranked wins over No. 2 Ohio State and a weekend sweep over No. 11 Penn State. Cornell is unbeaten with a 6-0-1 record including two wins over Penn State.

Scouting the Bears
- Brown is coming off a weekend ECAC sweep over Dartmouth and Harvard. It is the first home ECAC weekend sweep since the 2018 season. The seven goals against Dartmouth was the most in a game since 2016.
- Sophomore India McDadi tallied three goals and an assist over the weekend with two goals and an assist against Dartmouth and a goal versus Harvard.
- Sophomore Jade Iginla is tied for second on the team with two goals and has two assists for four points, while freshman Sam Broz has one goal and leads the team with three assists. Senior Cassidy Piersiak has two goals as well.
- Senior Anna Shelden, sophomore Ellie Gauvin and freshmen Margot Norehad and Elodie Roy each have one goal.
- In goal, Senior Kaley Doyle has a 1.62 goals against average and a .942 save percentage in five starts.
Scouting the Raiders
- Colgate started the season with a weekend split against No. 2 Ohio State and has since won six-straight games.
- The Raiders are 2-0-0 in the ECAC after a 4-3 win at RPI and a 4-0 shutout at Union.
- Senior Kristyna Kaltounkova leads the ECAC with eight goals and has added seven assists for 16 points, which is second in the conference.
- Senior Kayle Osborne has a 1.40 goals against average and a .949 save percentage in seven appearances and five starts.
Scouting the Big Red
- Cornell is one of three remaining teams in the country with an unbeaten record.
- The Big Red swept their first ECAC weekend with wins at Union (4-2) and RPI (2-1).
- Senior Izzy Daniel leads the ECAC with 10 assists and is third in the conference with seven goals for a league-leading 17 points.
- Freshman Annelies Bergmann has a 1.58 goals against average and a .929 save percentage in goal.
