Scouting the Bears (5-4, 2-1 Ivy)
- The Bears will be looking to get back to their winning ways Saturday, after a tough second quarter doomed them at Yale last weekend. Brown outscored the Bulldogs 12-7 in all quarters excluding the second, but saw Yale put up eight goals to their one during that second frame leading to the 15-13 loss.
- Mia Mascone posted her second five-goal performance in a row against Yale and now leads the team with 25 on the season. Her 31 points lead the Bears and are second in the Ivy League.
- Brown has found great success on the clear this season, as its .922 percentage is tops in the Ivy League and eighth in the nation.
- Princeton will be playing its first game in 11 days when it takes the field this Saturday. The Tigers' last two games have been tough losses to ranked competition as they fell 16-15 to No. 7 Loyola on March 23 and 16-8 to #5 Stony Brook last time out on March 29.
- At this point in the season, Princeton has only played one Ivy League game, a 13-12 victory over Cornell back on March 5. In the contest, the Tigers trailed the Big Red by three midway through the third quarter, but ended the game on a 4-0 run to claim the one-goal victory.
- Kyla Sears has done it all this season for the Tigers, leading the team in goals (25), assists (11), and points (36). Marge Donovan leads the team with 52 draw controls and 10 caused turnovers.
- Princeton owns the all-time series record over the Bears, but Brown came away victorious when these two sides last met.
- Trailing 9-2 in 2019, Brown scored eight straight goals to take a 10-9 lead into halftime. Only four total goals were scored in the second half as Brown would come away with the 12-11 victory. Claire Jeschke registered the game-winner for the Bears.
