
Women’s Lacrosse Continues Ivy League Play at Harvard on Saturday

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Brown women's lacrosse team (4-4, 1-1), will continue Ivy League play at Harvard (3-5, 0-2) on Saturday, the opening draw control is scheduled for 12 p.m. at Jordan Field.
Scouting Brown
In their last outing, the Bears saw their three-game winning streak end with a 10-8 defeat at then-No. 5 Yale. Ruby Sliwkowski ranks 10th in the Ivy League in points per game (4.0) and assists per game (1.75). The junior also leads the Bears in goals (18), assists (14), and points (32) and has had three or more points in six games this season.
Tessie Batchelder (14) ranks second on the Bears in goals while Caroline Nozzolillo ranks third (11). In goal, Mackenzie Conway leads the Ivy League in ground balls (2.88), while ranking third in saves per game (8.13), and fourth in save percentage (.471) and goals against average (9.22).
Scouting Harvard
The Crimson will be seeking their third-straight victory when they welcome the Bears on Saturday. In its last two games, Harvard defeated then-No. 12 Duke and Holy Cross.
As a team, the Crimson rank second in caused turnovers per game (9.38). Callie Batchelder ranks in the top 10 in the Ivy League in goals per game (2.38), points per game (4.13), and assists per game (1.75). Despine Giannakopoulos ranks in the top five in the Ivy League in ground balls per game (2.38) and caused turnovers per game (2.0).
History
Brown is 14-33 all-time against Harvard and will be seeking its first win in Cambridge since the 2010 season. Last season, the Bears picked up a 12-10 win over the Crimson at Stevenson-Pincince Field.
