Track and Field Slated for Two Meets this Weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown track and field teams will split and compete at two different meets this weekend, with the throwers taking part in the Black & Gold Invitational at Bryant, and the rest of the team headed to Virginia for the Colonial Relays at William & Mary. Both meets will run from Friday to Saturday.

Last weekend, Emily Kompelien and Lauren Yeboah-Kodie helped lead the Bears at the Hurricane Invitational in Miami with Kompelien running the 10th-fastest 1500m time in program history (4:26.75), and Lauren Yeboah-Kodie having the eighth-best triple jump (12.43m) in outdoor school history.
