Riley Set to Compete in the NCAA Championships on Thursday

EUGENE, Ore. – Junior sprinter Elle Riley is set to compete on Thursday, June 11 in the 400 meter hurdles at the NCAA Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon.
The event is scheduled to take place at 10:14 p.m. ET / 7:14 p.m. PT and will be televised live on ESPN2. Live results are also available.
Riley will compete in the second heat. The top three placers in each of the three heats, along with the next three fastest times, will all advance to the 400m hurdle finals, which will take place on Saturday at 9:27 p.m. ET.
Riley qualified for the finals after setting a new school record of 56.07 at the NCAA First Round back on May 30. Her school record on that day was nearly one full second (0.97) faster than her previous school record, which she set at the Ivy League Heps on May 17, where she took home the Ivy League title.
In addition to her 400m hurdles accolades, Riley also holds the school record in the 100m hurdles (13.44), which she also set at Heps, finishing runner-up.
