Riley Caps Season with Honorable Mention All-America Accolades at NCAA Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – Junior sprinter Elle Riley capped her 2026 season on Thursday evening at the NCAA Championships. Riley placed 24th overall in the 400 meter hurdles in 59.82 seconds. The placement earned her Honorable Mention All-America honors in the event.
Riley had a sensational 2026 season that saw her break the school record in the 400m hurdles and capture the Ivy League Heps title. She set the 400m hurdles school record of 56.07 at the NCAA First Round back on May 30. Her school record on that day was nearly one full second (0.97) faster than her previous school record, which she set at the Ivy League Heps on May 17, where she took home the Ivy League title.
In addition to her 400m hurdles accolades, Riley also holds the school record in the 100m hurdles (13.44), which she also set at Heps, finishing runner-up.
