SCOUTING BROWN (3-9, 0-0 Ivy)
The Bears are coming off a home-opening doubleheader split last Sunday, taking down Holy Cross 9-4 and falling 8-2 to Northeastern. After sluggish starts offensively by both teams in each game, the winning team each used a six-run rally to pull away in the late innings.
Ryan Marra and Reece Rappoli each went 3-for-8 with a double over the two games, with Marra crushing a solo home run in game two, his team-leading fourth of the season. Nathan Brasher had four RBIs in the opener, including a big three-run homer to blow the game open in the eighth inning.
Rappoli carries a six-game hitting streak into this weekend's game and has reached base safely in eight of nine games this season.
On the mound, Bobby Olsen has allowed four earned runs over 12.1 IP in his two starts this season with 15 strikeouts.
Tobey McDonough leads Brown with a 1.96 ERA over four starts this season, tossing 6.0 innings on three occasions.
SCOUTING DARTMOUTH (7-8, 0-0 Ivy)
Off to a 7-8 start, Dartmouth rides a four-game winning streak into Ivy play, after defeating Bradley, and three Division III teams earlier this week in Florida. The two teams have only one common opponent thus far in 2022 in Gardner-Webb, with Dartmouth splitting their four-game series with the Runnin' Bulldogs, while Brown was swept in four straight.
The Big Green sit third in the league with a .278 team batting average, but rank seventh in team ERA at 8.49.
Infielder Justin Murray leads the team with a .371 batting average and eight doubles, picking up two hits in each of his last three games. Senior righty Nathan Skinner has been the team's top starter, holding a 2.65 ERA through three starts, striking out 12 over 17.0 innings and holding opponents to a .222 average.
All three games this weekend will be streamed live on ESPN+ and can be watched internationally on Stretch.

Brown will return to action this coming Tuesday at home against Bryant, before diving back into league play next weekend with a three-game set at Harvard.
