
Softball's weekend series at Princeton adjusted due to weather

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown softball's schedule for its road trip to Princeton has been changed due to inclement weather in the forecast for Saturday. The Bears will now open Ivy League play against the Tigers on Friday (March 18) before playing a doubleheader on Sunday (March 20).
All games will be streamed on ESPN+.

SCOUTING BROWN
The Bears sit at 4-9 on the season after dropping two games over their last weekend of play against UMBC and Hofstra.
Brown is led at the plate by Alexis Guevara with a .333 batting average and 10 hits on the year. Guevara has scored four runs and drove in three on the season. Guevara leads Brown with four multi-hit games this season.
Leah Carey is hitting .257 with nine hits and is 7-for-7 in stolen base attempts. Carey is one of two Bears (Lauren Innerst is the other) with a three-hit game this season.
Laurel Moody leads Brown with five RBI and three home runs. Three of Moody's five hits this season have left the ballpark.
In seven games this season, Katie O'Leary is hitting .353 on the season and holds a .476 on base percentage. O'Leary has six hits, a double and a triple. O'Leary has also driven in four runs. O'Leary has reached base in her last five games played.
