Water polo closes out regular season against Harvard and MIT

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's water polo wraps up its season with two home games on Sunday (Nov. 7). The Bears will begin the day against Harvard at 11 a.m. before finishing off the season against MIT at 3 p.m.
Both games will be taking place at the Coleman Aquatics Center. Those that cannot attend the games are able to watch both games on ESPN+.

SCOUTING BROWN
- Brown enters the final weekend of the season with a 17-12 overall record and is 4-3 during conference play.
- The Bears went 2-1 over the last weekend with a 15-7 win against Iona and a 14-13 overtime win against St. Francis Brooklyn. Brown lost 13-7 to Princeton to close out the weekend.
- Cole Atwell is the leading goal scorer for the Bears having tallied 49 goals on the season. Filip Aleksic is second on the team with 46, followed by Connor Enright (45) and Leo Berkman (41).
- Aleksic is the leading point scorer, adding 46 assists on the year.
- Ugo Piovan leads the team with 178 saves this season. Joe Gallagher is second on the team with 95.
SCOUTING HARVARD
- Harvard begins its final weekend of the season with a 22-4 overall record and a 6-2 mark in conference play. The Crimson are ranked 11th in the latest CWPA Top-20 poll.
- The Crimson won the first meeting of the season between the two teams in a low-scoring 8-4 contest. Harvard led 6-2 at halftime in the first meeting. Four different Bears scored for Brown in the game.
SCOUTING MIT
- MIT is 7-14 on the year and 1-7 in conference play entering the final weekend of the season. The Engineers have lost four-straight games including two that went into overtime.
- Brown has won both games against MIT this season. The first meeting was a 16-8 win by the Bears before Brown won 15-7 in a conference game two weeks later.
