
Bears Return Home for Weekend Set against Dartmouth and No. 10 Harvard

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – After three games on the road in the last week, the Brown women's hockey team will return to Meehan Auditorium on Friday evening to start a two-game weekend set against Dartmouth on Friday, and No. 10 Harvard on Saturday.

Next weekend, Brown will head to update New York for games against Clarkson and St. Lawrence.
SCOUTING BROWN
- Brown is coming off a 3-0 loss at UConn on Tuesday night. The 30 shots by Brown on Tuesday tied a season-low.
- Reigning ECAC Rookie of the Month Anna Hurd leads the Bears with six points, tying for the team lead with three goals, and has three assists.
- Shay Maloney has also scored three goals and adds two assists.
- Cameron Sikich leads the Bears with four assists, including assisting on the game-tying and go-ahead goals in the third period against Cornell.
SCOUTING DARTMOUTH
- Dartmouth is off to a 3-3 start overall and 2-3 in ECAC play. They have gone 1-2 against nationally ranked opponents this season, including a 4-3 win over then-No. 9 Cornell.
- Most recently, the Big Green pulled out a 3-2 non-conference win at home on Tuesday over Vermont.
- Dartmouth is averaging 2.7 goals per game this year, led by Gabby Billings and Currie Putrah who have three each. Laura Fuoco leads the way with four assists.
- Maggie Emerson has played every minute in goal so far this season, totaling an .895 save percentage and 3.32 goals-against average.
SCOUTING HARVARD
- Ranked at No. 10 in both national polls this week, Harvard is 5-2 (3-2 ECAC) to start the year. Both of the Crimson's defeats have come in overtime to ranked opponents in No. 4/5 Colgate and then-No. 10 Clarkson.
- Most recently, Harvard took down No. 7 Boston College 5-2 at home on Tuesday.
- The Crimson will travel to face Yale on Friday before facing Brown on Saturday.
- Harvard is scoring exactly 4.0 goals per game while allowing 2.1.
- Becca Gilmore has six goals to lead the team and is tied with Keeley Moy for the team lead with nine points.
- Five different players have four assists each, including Anne Bloomer who also adds four goals.
- Becky Dutton and Lindsay Reed have split the goaltending duties, with Dutton earning four of the starts, and posting team-leading .935 save pct. and a 1.47 GAA.
