Women's soccer hosts LIU in final nonconference contest

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's soccer team will play its final nonconference regular season game of the year this Tuesday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. against LIU.
The Bears have won their last six games and outscored their opponents 16-3 with three shutouts during that span. The Sharks on the other hand have lost four in a row and were shutout in the most recent three.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets online at BrownBears.com/tickets prior to their arrival at Stevenson-Pincince Field. Brown Athletics has moved to completely contactless ticketing, so fans should either download their digital tickets to display on a mobile device or print them at home prior to arrival.

- Brittany Raphino's team-leading 21 points is a new career high for the junior. During her Ivy League Rookie of the Year freshman campaign, she scored eight goals and added three assists for 19 points.
- Ava Seelenfreund's seven goals and 16 points are also both career highs, as are Maesyn G'Bye's three goals and 11 points and Zoe Maxwell's six assists and 10 points.
- 15 of Raphino's 21 points have come in the last six games, as she has recorded at least one point in all six. Seelenfreund has recorded at least one point in five straight.
Scouting the Sharks (2-10-2, 2-6-1 NEC):
- The entirety of LIU's offense has recorded 22 points, just one more than Raphino's total of 21.
- The Sharks have been led by Kednra Oldroyd and her three goals and one assist for seven points.
- In goal, Kyla DeTreux has started 11 games and posted a 1.43 goals against average and a .802 save percentage.
- This is the first meeting between LIU and Brown in program history.
