
Men’s Hockey Hosts Princeton, No. 16 Quinnipiac

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown men's hockey team returns to Providence this weekend for a pair of home games against Princeton (2/7) and No. 16 Quinnipiac (2/8). Both games will be broadcast on ESPN+.

Brown split the annual trip to the North Country this past weekend with a shutout win at St. Lawrence (2-0) and a loss to No. 6 Clarkson (4-1). Gavin Nieto made 25 saves against the Saints to earn his first shutout of the season and fourth of his career. Brent Beaudoin broke a scoreless game in the third period for his second game-winning goal of the season and also went 12-1 on faceoffs. Michael Maloney sealed the game with an empty-net goal. Colin Burston scored the team's lone goal against Clarkson on Saturday as the Golden Knights took a three-goal lead into the third period to come away with the win.

Princeton (3-14-4, 1-10-3) is 1-4-1 over its last six games with three overtime contests in that span. The Tigers dropped a pair of home games to Cornell and Colgate last weekend. Sophomore Corey Andonovski paces the lineup with six goals, 11 assists and 17 points, in addition to three power-play goals.
