
Men’s Hockey Hosts No. 8 Clarkson, St. Lawrence in ECAC Play

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown men's hockey team will continue its four-game homestand this weekend when the Bears host No. 8 Clarkson (11/22) and St. Lawrence (11/23) at Meehan Auditorium. Both games will be broadcast on ESPN+.

Brown dropped a pair of Ivy League home games to Harvard and Dartmouth last weekend. The Bears fell by a 4-1 decision in both games. Chris Berger scored his second goal of the season against Harvard to even the score late in the second period, but the Crimson came back with three unanswered goals to take the win. Dartmouth jumped out to a three-goal lead the next night before Justin Jallen scored the lone goal for the Bears with his sixth tally of the season. Luke Kania made 26 saves against Harvard and Gavin Nieto had 21 stops versus Dartmouth. Brown went 1-for-5 on the power play over the course of the weekend.

Zach Risteau and Keenan Suthers pace the team with five goals apiece, while Risteau also has nine assists for a team-best 14 points. Daniel Mannella is one of three different goalies to start multiple games for the Saints and leads the trio with a 2-1-1 record, a 2.41 GAA and a .932 save percentage. St. Lawrence is averaging 1.83 goals per game and is 12.5 percent on the power play.
