Before Brown: Member of the Nike Cross Regionals and Nike Cross Nationals winning team in 2010; All CNY Cross Country All-Star Team Member 2010 and 2011; Indoor Track State meet qualifier in the 1500m in 2011 season.

McGurrin is the daughter of Mark and Sabrina McGurrin of Manlius, New York … Has a sister, Lauren, who attends the University of Vermont, and a brother, Mark ’15, who attends Brown University … A High Honor Roll student for all four years and a member of the National Honor Society and Science Honor Society … Was the Co-Editor of her school’s literary magazine and was the Dartmouth Book Award recipient … Also enjoys skiing, biking, and writing … Her concentration is in Economics.
