2021-22: CRCA Scholar-Athlete … Rowed in the Varsity 8 boat for the entire season … Helped the V8 take sixth at the NCAA Championship, second at the Ivy League Championship, and first at the Eastern Sprints … Helped the top crew to wins over Radcliffe (Apr. 3) and Ohio State (Mar. 26).

2020-21: Earned CRCA Scholar-Athlete honors … Raced with the first varsity eight for the majority of the season … Helped the first varsity eight place eighth at the NCAA Championships (May 28-30) … Aided the Bears to finish eighth as a team at NCAAs … Helped the first varsity eight post a 13-5 record on the year.

2019-20: Earned CRCA Scholar-Athlete honors … Placed second with the championship four at the Head of the Charles (Oct. 20) … Came in second with the A varsity eight at the Princeton Chase (Oct. 27) … Spring season canceled due to novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

2018-19: Spent the majority of the season in the second varsity eight … Took silver with the second varsity eight at the Ivy League Championship … Placed ninth with the second varsity eight at the NCAA Championships … Helped Brown finish second as a team at the Ivy Championship and ninth as a team at the NCAA Championships … Aided the second varsity to a 23-11 record on the year.

Before Brown: Won the U19 eight at Canadian Henley in 2017 … Finished second in the U17 double at Club Nationals in 2016 … Placed fifth in the U19 eight at Club Nationals in 2017 … Rowed for head coach Skye Elliot … Raced with Community Rowing, Inc.

Personal: Ellie is the daughter of Christina (’92) and Malcolm (’91) Baker … Both Christina and Malcolm rowed at Brown; Malcolm is a member of the Brown Athletic Hall of Fame … Has one younger brother, Colin, a member of the Brown men’s crew Class of 2025 … Economics concentrator.
