2010 Outdoor Track & Field: The outdoorseason got progressively better for Smith, who was throwing PRafter PR for several meets ... The highlight of her outdoor seasonwas at the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships at Princeton, whereSmith won the hammer and broke the Ivy League hammer record with atoss of 199'8" ... Also placed second in the shotput with a throwof 51'3", a season record ... Smith's hammer performance at theNCAA Regional meet qualified her for the NCAA Nationals in Eugene,Oregon where she placed 18th overall.

2009-10 Indoor Track & Field: Smith had astrong start to the season at the Alden Invitational, with a schoolrecord-breaking throw of 60'6" in the weight throw ... Despite adisappointing performance at Indoor HEPS in the weight throw, shefinished in second place behind teammate Danielle Grunloh in theshoput ... Her toss of 50'10" qualified her provisionally for theNCAA Indoor Nationals.

In 2008-09: She went on to set an indoor seasonbest at the Alden Invitational with a throw of 48'6" in the shotput ... In the weight throw she set a personal best of 53'8" atIndoor Heps, which earned her 3rd place..Also recieved 2nd place inthe shotput... Outdoors, Brynn had a tremendous season in thehammer, throwing a personal best of 187'9"...At Outdoor Heps sheplaced 1st in both the shotput and hammer... In the post season,she threw both the shot and hammer at the NCAA Regional Meet atNorth Carolina A&T, placing 5th in the hammer, which qualifiedher for nationals...Placed 18th nationally at the NCAA Nationalmeet in Fayetteville, Arkansas ... Brynn was also selected as aUSTFCCCA Academic All American.

Inthe weight throw she set indoor season best at New EnglandChampionships with a throw of 51'1'' and went on to place 6th atIndoor Heps... Outdoors Brynn set a personal best at the BrownInvitational in the hammer with a throw of 156'7''. At outdoor Hepsshe placed 4th in the shot with a new PR and NCAA Regionalqualifying mark of 47'7'' ... In the post season, she threw anotherpersonal best of 51'10'' in the shot at the NCAA Regional Meet atFlorida State, placing 4th... Her 4th place finish qualified herfor NCAA Nationals where she took 23rd place.

High School: A graduate of Thornton Academy,Smith was the 2006-2007 Maine Indoor and Outdoor Shot Put Champion. . . That same year, she was the Maine's runner-up in the discus .. .
