Baseball to Host Columbia for Key Three-Game Series

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown baseball team will welcome Columbia to Attanasio Family Field at Murray Stadium for a key three-game Ivy League series this weekend. Saturday will be Little League Day with first pitch of game one set for 11:30 a.m., with game two following approximately 30 minutes later.

- Senior Mika Petersen leads the Ivy League in league games with a .467 batting average. He has reached base in 21 of the last 22 games and has a 10-game hitting streak.

- Sophomore outfielder Alex Benevento enters the weekend having hit safely in 12 of his last 14 games. He ranks second on the team with a .327 average.
