Women’s Lacrosse Welcomes Bryant for Ocean State Cup Clash on Tuesday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown women's lacrosse team (3-3, 1-0) will welcome Bryant (6-3, 1-0) on Tuesday, Mar. 17 for the Ocean State Cup, the opening draw control is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Stevenson-Pincince Field.
Tuesday's Ocean State Cup matchup will be the second game of a Brown lacrosse doubleheader and will begin after the conclusion of men's lacrosse's game against UMass Lowell at 4 p.m. fans can purchase tickets for both games here.
Scouting Brown
The Bears enter their matchup with the Bulldogs riding a two-game winning streak after a win over Cornell (Mar. 7) and Boston University (Mar. 10).
Ruby Sliwkowski leads the Bears in goals (14), assists (11), and points (25). Tessie Batchelder and Caroline Nozzolillo both rank second on the Bears in goals (10). Over the last four games, Batchelder has recorded 10 goals to go along with two hat tricks.
Scouting Bryant
Bryant enters its matchup with Brown riding a three-game winning streak after wins over Quinnipiac (Mar. 4), LIU (Mar. 7), and Vermont (8-7). The Bears are the second Ivy League team the Bulldogs will face this season, Bryant fell 19-6 at Dartmouth (Feb. 14).
Gabriella Constant leads the Bulldogs in goals (26), points (32), and shots (50). Elise Larsen (29) ranks second on the Bulldogs in points followed by Emily DeGeorge (27).
Ocean State Cup History
Brown will be seeking its 14th overall and sixth-straight Ocean State Cup. The Bears have won two-straight under head coach Katrina Dowd.
Last season, Brown earned a 14-10 win at Bryant to retain the Ocean State Cup.
What's Next
Brown will resume Ivy League play at Yale on Sunday, Mar. 22, the opening draw control is scheduled for 12 p.m. at Reese Stadium.
