
Men’s Tennis Wins Fifth Straight with 4-0 Triumph Over Temple

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown men's tennis team (12-5) won its fifth straight match with a 4-0 win over Temple (3-6) on Friday evening inside the Pizzitola Sports Center.
In doubles action, the pairing of Noah Hernandez and Zander Bravo set the tone with a 6‑2 win over Maj Najvirt Kolaric and Lance Cochran. Theo Murphy and Ivan Sodan followed with a tight 7‑5 victory against Alberto Blumenschein and Aayush Bhat to finish out doubles play.
In singles, Sodan defeated Aayush Bhat in straight sets, 6‑1, 6‑3. Hernandez also earned a 6‑2, 6‑4 win over Cochran. Elliot Wasserman closed out the day with a solid straight‑set victory, defeating Oliver Aguilar 6‑3, 6‑3.
The Bears will conclude their weekend with a doubleheader on Sunday, Mar. 15 against St. John's at 10 a.m. and Sacred Heart at 5 p.m. inside the Pizzatola Sports Center.
