Baseball Set for Three-Game Series at Seton Hall

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Coming off a series win over Rhode Island and a midweek victory over Quinnipiac, the Brown baseball team will hit the road for a three game weekend series at Seton Hall Friday through Sunday. All three games will be streamed live on YouTube.

SCOUTING BROWN (4-6)
- Brown has won three of its last four games, all at home.
- Four Brown pitchers combined to one-hit Quinnipiac in a 4-1 win on Tuesday.
- Sophomore outfielder Alex Benevento leads the Ivy League with a .389 batting average and freshman shortstop Matt Luigs ranks fifth at .359.
- Benevento ranks second in the league in slugging (.583), on-base percentage (.500), OPS (1.083), and is third in runs (11) and hits (14).
- Luigs has reached base in all 10 games this season, and Benevento has an 11-game on-base streak dating back to last season.
- Senior pitcher Peter Dubie was named the Ivy League Pitcher of the Week on Monday after his performance last Saturday against URI.
- Senior Mark Henshon is tied for third in the Ivy League with 10 RBIs.
- Logan Meusy leads the team with three doubles and has a .321 batting average.
- Christian Keel ranks third in the league by holding opponents to a .211 batting average.
SCOUTING SETON HALL (5-7)
- Three members of the team are hitting over .275 with Ryan Frontera holding a .311 average.
- Aiden Dill leads the team with 16 walks and 14 runs scored in 12 games, as well as a .525 on-base percentage.
- Nick Tomasetto leads the Pirates with 10 RBIs.
- Steven Svenson has a team-high four starts on the mound this season, holding a 4.02 ERA with 12 strikeouts over 15.2 IP.
- John Higgins has all four of the team's saves and has allowed just one hit and no runs with 13 strikeouts over 7.0 innings.
