
Brown Track and Field Set for Ivy Indoor Heps

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Bears track and field programs are set to compete at the Ivy League Heptagonal Indoor Championships on Saturday and Sunday, February 28 - March 1. Hosted by Columbia, the championships will take place at The Armory in New York City.

Over the 12-meet regular season, 10 women have set 15 different top-10 marks on the school's all-time performers list. These include junior Alyssa Jackson's record breaking 60m and 200m dashes, and senior Nimrit Ahuja's three top-10 marks in the mile, 3000m, and 5000m races. Going into Heps, the women's team is currently ranked 10th in the northeast region (USTFCCCA) and sixth in the Ivy League.

On the men's team, eight different athletes have set 12 different top-10 marks on the school's all-time performers list. These include sophomore Trevor Wilder's three top-10 marks in the 60m, 200m, and 400m dashes, and junior Sebastian Margetts' two top-10 marks in the 3000m and 5000m races. Going into the Heps, the men's are ranked 19th in the northeast region (USTFCCCA) and eighth in the Ivy League.
