
Men’s Tennis Earns 4-1 Win at Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. - The Brown men's tennis team (7-4) earned a 4-1 win at Richmond (0-5) on Saturday.
In doubles action, Zander Bravo and Ivan Sodan fell 6-3 to Cole Brashear and Davis Wiley, but the Bears quickly responded as Noah Hernandez and Lukas Phimvongsa earned a 6-3 win over Paxton Pritchard and Sam Rathmanner. Cole Oberg and James Lian were edged by Charlie Burdell and Otto Sewell, 6-4.
In singles, Sodan battled to defeat Wiley, 7-5, 4-6, 6-4, while Phimvongsa also delivered a 6-4, 6-1 win over Burdell. Hernandez followed with a 6-3, 7-5 victory against Sewell, and Elliot Wasserman closed out the Bears' with a 6-3, 7-5 win over Brashear.
The Bears will be back in action tomorrow, Sunday, Feb. 22, when they take on William & Mary at 10 a.m.
