Men’s Tennis Wins Fourth Straight with 7-0 Triumph Over Georgetown

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Brown men's tennis team (11-5) won its fourth consecutive match with a 7-0 win over Georgetown (1-10) on Sunday.

In doubles, seniors Noah Hernandez and Zander Bravo earned their win with a 6-3 victory over James O'Sullivan and Cyrus Zia. The doubles pairing of Lukas Phimvongsa and Cole Oberg defeated Burke Pablo and Jonah Hill, 6-2.

On the singles side, Ivan Sodan rallied for a three-set win over Arthur O'Sullivan, 4-6, 6-4, 10-7. Phimvongsa earned another victory against James O'Sullivan, 6-4, 6-2, while Hernandez edged Joshua Lamm‑Bocharov in a tightly contested match, 6-3, 4-6, 12-10. Robert Yang cruised past Cyrus Zia, 6-3, 6-3, and Elliot Wasserman dominated Burke Pablo in straight sets, 6-0, 6-2. Alex Koong rounded out singles play with a three-set win over Jonah Hill, 6-2, 3-6, 10-5.

Brown will return home to face Temple on Friday, Mar. 13 at 5 p.m. inside the Pizzitola Sports Center.
