Softball Selected Fourth in Ivy League Preseason Poll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown softball has been selected fourth in the 2026 Ivy League Preseason Poll, the league announced on Wednesday (Feb. 11).
The Bears collected 76 points in the poll to finish five points ahead of Dartmouth (71). Princeton led the poll with 126 points and 14 of the 16 first place votes. Harvard came in second with 110 points and collected the other two first place votes.
Columbia was third in the poll with 85 points. The poll was rounded out by Yale in sixth (48), Cornell (44) and Penn (16).
Brown will begin its quest to defend its Ivy League Tournament Championship on Saturday (March 21) when the Bears host Columbia for the start of a three-game series. The regular season begins for Brown on Friday (Feb. 20) when the Bears head to Texas State for a weekend tournament.
