In a game Brown dominated, Union actually got the scoring going first with a power play goal at 10:55 in the first period.
After allowing eight shots in the first period, Brown's defense shut down the Garnet Chargers, allowing two Union shots in the second and held Union without a shot on goal in the final 20 minutes. In total, Brown outshot Union 54-10.
Brown broke through in the second at 5:12 as Broz scored her third goal of the season. Monique Lyons, who finished the game with two assists, won the puck in the corner and sent it cross ice to Norehad.
