Men’s Basketball Hosts Harvard and Dartmouth This Weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown men's basketball team (7-11, 1-4) will welcome Harvard (10-9, 3-2) on Friday, Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. before hosting Dartmouth (9-9, 3-2) on Saturday at 6 p.m. inside the Pizzitola Sports Center.
Scott Cordischi, Russ Tyler '71, and Nick Coit will bring you the action for both games on ESPN+. Fans can also listen to Jorge Bannister and Nick Coit live on the Brown Varsity Network, fans can access the Brown Varsity Network via the Varsity Network app, or BrownBears.com.
Last Time Out
Brown fell 63-53 at Princeton (Jan. 24) in its last outing. Landon Lewis led the way offensively for the Bears with 13 points and nine rebounds.
Langham Named Rookie of the Week
Isaiah Langham was named Ivy League Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season and for the second consecutive week.
Langham is now the ninth player in program history to be named Ivy League Rookie of the Week four times during their freshman season. Over the last three games, the Stoughton, Mass. native is averaging 13.0 points per game on 59.2 shooting from the floor. Langham has scored in double figures in nine out of 18 games this season.

Jeremiah Jenkins leads the Ivy League in total assists (99), assists per game (5.5), total steals (34), and steals per game (1.9). N'famara Dabo leads the Ivy League in field goal percentage (62.9), total blocks (33), and blocks per game (1.8).
Brown's 67.4 scoring defense leads the Ivy League and ranks 41st nationally, its 30.5 three-point percentage defense ranks 50th across the nation. The Bears' 7.7 steals per game also leads the Ivy League.
The Bears are forcing the most turnovers in the Ivy League per game with 13.4.

Harvard's 69.3 scoring defense is second in the Ivy League behind Brown and ranks 65th nationally. The Crimson's 7.5 steals per game ranks second in the Ivy League, also behind the Bears.
Robert Hinton ranks seventh in the Ivy League in points per game (16.5), Thomas Batties II ranks second in the conference in three-point percentage (53.5). The Crimson have three players ranked in the top five in the Ivy League in steals per game in Chandler Pigge (1.6), Ben Eisendrath (1.6), and Hinton (1.4).

Brandon Mitchell-Day ranks 31st nationally in rebounds per game (9.2), and eighth in defensive rebounds per game (7.2). Both lead the Ivy League. As a team, the Big Green's 10.9 three-pointers per game ranks 15th nationally and their 38.3 three-point percentage ranks 19th nationally.
