Men’s Swim and Dive Hosts Columbia for Senior Day

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown Men's Swimming & Diving team (2-4, 1-4 Ivy) will return to the Katherine Coleman Aquatics Center inside the Nelson Fitness Center for its final home contest on Saturday at noon when they host Columbia (1-3, 1-3 Ivy). Before the meet, the Bears will recognize their seven seniors competing in their last home dual: Chris Chang, Max Hardart, Rowland Lawver, Aaron Martin, Marcel Mateos Salles, Tucker Peterson, and Jake Regenwetter.
Saturday's contest can be watched on ESPN+.

SCOUTING THE BEARS

The Bears most recently fell to the Harvard Crimson (5-0, 3-0 Ivy), 223-77.
This season, Brown has 36 event wins, led by Lawver's 10 individual victories, five in each the 1-meter and 3-meter dives.
Marton Nagy holds seven victories across the 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke, 200 IM, and 400 IM.
Rory O'Connor has four total wins in his first year at Brown, three in the 500 free and one in the 1650 free.
Last season, Brown fell to Columbia, 165.5-134.5, in New York. Two years ago, the Bears defeated the Lions 182-116 in Providence.

SCOUTING THE LIONS

The Lions are currently 1-3 this season with a victory over Penn.
Columbia placed sixth at the Ivy League Championships last season, hosted by Brown.
The Lions most recently competed in the Big AI Invite from Dec. 4-6, placing second, behind Princeton.
- Zion James, Isaac Beers, Will Cooley, and Derek Hitchens each won their respective events.
