Men’s Swim and Dive Hosts Columbia for Senior Day

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown Men's Swimming & Diving team (2-4, 1-4 Ivy) will return to the Katherine Coleman Aquatics Center inside the Nelson Fitness Center for its final home contest on Saturday at noon when they host Columbia (1-3, 1-3 Ivy). Before the meet, the Bears will recognize their seven seniors competing in their last home dual: Chris Chang, Max Hardart, Rowland Lawver, Aaron Martin, Marcel Mateos Salles, Tucker Peterson, and Jake Regenwetter.
Saturday's contest can be watched on ESPN+.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
- The Bears most recently fell to the Harvard Crimson (5-0, 3-0 Ivy), 223-77.
- This season, Brown has 36 event wins, led by Lawver's 10 individual victories, five in each the 1-meter and 3-meter dives.
- Marton Nagy holds seven victories across the 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke, 200 IM, and 400 IM.
- Rory O'Connor has four total wins in his first year at Brown, three in the 500 free and one in the 1650 free.
- Last season, Brown fell to Columbia, 165.5-134.5, in New York. Two years ago, the Bears defeated the Lions 182-116 in Providence.
SCOUTING THE LIONS
- The Lions are currently 1-3 this season with a victory over Penn.
- Columbia placed sixth at the Ivy League Championships last season, hosted by Brown.
- The Lions most recently competed in the Big AI Invite from Dec. 4-6, placing second, behind Princeton.
- Zion James, Isaac Beers, Will Cooley, and Derek Hitchens each won their respective events.
