Nagy to Compete in 200 IM and 400 IM at 2026 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championship

INDIANAPOLIS – Brown men's swimming and diving's Marton Nagy was selected to compete in the 2026 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championship at McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta. Nagy will swim in the 400 IM on Thursday, March 26, and the 200 IM on Saturday, March 28.

For the second consecutive season, Nagy won the 400 IM at the Ivy League Men's Swimming and Diving Championship. This year, the individual champion earned the automatic qualifier for NCAAs. In addition, his 200 IM performance in the championship met the NCAA standard and earned the sophomore a second-place finish.

Nagy's 3:41.89 in the 400 IM is a program record, as is the 1:42.26 time in the 200 IM. The 200 IM mark is the 20th-fastest time in NCAA Division I.

All sessions of the NCAA Championship will be streamed on ESPN+.
