Men's Swimming and Diving Fall at Harvard on Saturday

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Brown men's swimming & diving team (2-4, 1-4 Ivy) fell to Harvard (5-0, 3-0 Ivy), 223-77, on Saturday inside Blodgett Pool. The Bears collected 12 top finishes, highlighted by Rowland Lawver's victories in the 1-meter dive and 3-meter dive.

Summary of Top-Three Finishes
- Lawver collected 329.48 points in the 1-meter and 360.75 in the 3-meter to win both events.
- Christopher Zhang placed second in the 200 freestyle (1:37.91).
- Marton Nagy placed third in both the 100 freestyle (45.48) and 200 IM (1:50.48).
- Matthew Purcell placed third in the 200 freestyle (1:52.58).
- Max Moore placed second in the 200 yard breaststroke (2:05.01) and third in the 100 yard breaststroke (55.65).
- Jonathan Gim placed third in the 50 yard freestyle (20.89).
- Matt Williamson placed third in the 1000 freestyle (9:25.86)
- The 200 yard medley relay team of Finn Quested, Moore, Donavan Jeng, and Zhang placed third with a time of 1:31.68.
- The 400 free relay team of Zhang, Jeng, Jonathan Gim, and Quested placed third (3:01.90).
UP NEXT
The Bears will return home for senior day on Saturday, Jan. 17th to face Columbia at noon. Saturday's contest can be streamed on ESPN+.
