PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Four members of the Brown men's swimming and diving team were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced on Tuesday, April 7. Rowland Lawver, Marton Nagy, Matteo Vasiliadis, and Matt Williamson received the honor for the first time.
To be considered, a student-athlete must have competed in 75 percent of the team's competitions, finish top-eight at a conference meet or participate in the national meet, have at least a 3.5 cumulative grade-point average (on a 4.0 scale), and have reached sophomore athletic eligibility.
Lawver was named Second Team All-Ivy in the one-meter dive and earned the Ron Keenhold Career High-Point Diver during the Ivy League Men's Swimming and Diving Championship. This season, Lawver earned seven one-meter dive wins and seven three-meter dive victories.
Nagy participated in the 2026 NCAA Division I Men's Swimming and Diving Championships after earning a second consecutive title in the 400 IM and a Second Team All-Ivy recognition in the 200 IM. At nationals, Nagy competed in both the 200 IM and 400 IM. Nagy collected 12 individual victories in 2025-26 and set two program records, breaking his own 200 IM and 400 IM marks set last season.
Vasiliadis competed at the NCAA Zone A Dives, placing 15th in the one-meter. During the Ivy League Championship, the junior placed sixth in the one-meter finals.
Williamson earned an individual win at Cornell earlier this season in the 1000 free.
