12 Bears Pick Up NEILA All-Academic Honors

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Twelve Bears picked up NEILA All-Academic honors as the program continues to excel in the classroom.
 
A total of 85 Division I players in New England picked up the year-end honor and represent 13 programs. Brown's 12 honorees are the second most in the region, trailing only Harvard (17).
 
To be eligible, a player must be a graduating senior or a fifth-year who has exhausted their NCAA eligibility and maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Additionally, the player must be a starter or significant contributor to the program.
 
Earlier this week, six Bears picked up USILA Scholar All-America honors and the team earned the USILA Academic Team Award with the highest GPA in Division I.
 
Previously, Charlie Cave and Dash Sachs earned CSC Academic All-District recognition.
