Men’s Lacrosse Concludes Non-Conference Play at St. John’s on Saturday

QUEENS, N.Y. - The Brown men's lacrosse team (4-3, 0-1) will conclude non-conference play at St. John's (2-6, 0-0) on Saturday, the opening face-off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
Scouting the Bears
Brown will be looking to win five non-conference games in a season for the first time since the 2022 campaign. The Bears will also look to finish 3-1 in non-conference road games this season.
In its last outing, Brown used a strong first half to defeat UMass Lowell, 13-6, on Tuesday. Over the last two games, Jameson Steele has recorded five goals and three assists, matching a career-high with four points in both games. Jeremy Hopsicker has netted hat tricks in back-to-back games, the senior leads the Bears in goals (19), his goals total ranks tied for second in the Ivy League and he ranks tied for third in goals per game (2.71).
Connor Foley ranks second in the Ivy League in saves per game (12.71) and third in save percentage (.556). Henry Brayer leads the Ivy League in ground balls per game (6.0) and ranks eighth in face-off winning percentage (.541).
Scouting the Red Storm
Noah Plenn leads the Red Storm in goals (14), assists per game (10), and points (24), Plenn leads the Big East in shots per game (8.8), ranks second in goals per game (2.4) and third in assists per game (1.6). Adrian Novak ranks seventh in the Big East in goals per game (2.0), he has scored 10 goals this season.
Brown will be the final non-conference game for St. John's before it begins Big East action.

Saturday will be the first-ever matchup between the Bears and the Red Storm.
