PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Standout defenseman Charlie Cave picked up 2025 Nike Lacrosse Media All-America honors with a spot on the Honorable Mention team. The junior earned Second Team All-Ivy honors earlier this spring.
The Arlington, Mass. native led the Bears with a career-high 23 caused turnovers while finishing second with 35 ground balls. Cave's 1.77 caused turnovers per game ranks first in the Ivy League, and 16th nationally. He posted a season-high four caused turnovers at Yale on March 29.
It marks the second straight season that Cave has picked up national recognition. He earned First Team All-Ivy and USA Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-America honors in 2024.
All seven Ivy League programs are represented in the 105-player announcement. Princeton led the conference with eight selections with Cornell picking up seven selections.
