NEW YORK, N.Y. - The Brown men's tennis team (18-7, 0-2) suffered a 7-0 loss to No. 8 Columbia (12-4, 2-0) on Saturday afternoon.

The Bears fought hard in doubles as Brown's No. 2 pairing Alex Finklestein & Xander Bravo along with its No. 3 pairing Sam Feldman & James Lian fell 6-2. Noah Hernandez & Lukas Phimvongsa held their ground before their match was abandoned, trailing slightly by a score of 4-3.

In singles, Brown's Lukas Phimvongsa and Zander Bravo almost earned Brown a singles point after both players lost the opening set before winning the second set and forcing a third set 10-point tiebreak. Ultimately, Brown went scoreless in singles.

Brown will be back in action on Sunday, Apr. 6 when they travel to Cornell at 1:00 p.m.
