Men’s Tennis Drops Road Match at No. 40 Penn

Philadelphia, Pa. - The Brown men's tennis team (15-13, 0-6 Ivy) falls to No. 40 Penn (17-9, 3-3 Ivy), 4-0, on Saturday afternoon.
In doubles, Ivan Sodan and Robert Yang were edged by Aaron Sandler and Manfredi Graziani, 6-4, at the top spot. Cole Oberg and Lukas Phimvongsa fell to Nischal Spurling and Shaurya Bharadwaj, 6-2, resulting in Noah Hernandez and Zander Bravo in an unfinished match against Vojtech Vales and Justin Chung (4-5).
In singles play, Sodan was defeated by Graziani at the first line, 6-2, 6-2; Phimvongsa fell in his match to Butera, 6-4, 7-6. Hernandez battled against Bharadwaj but was halted at 7-6, 6-6. Robert Yang played against Vales, 2-6, 6-4, 5-4, but the match went unfinished. Zander Bravo dropped his match to Adam Bain, 6-0, 6-1, and Alex Koong and Matthew Rutter had their match halted at 6-2, 4-6.
Brown will close its 2026 regular season at Princeton on Sunday, Apr. 19.
