Men’s Tennis Suffers 6-1 Defeat at No. 40 Cornell

ITHACA, N.Y. – The Brown men's tennis team (18-8, 0-3) fell 6-1 at No. 40 Cornell (12-6, 2-1) to conclude the second weekend of Ivy League action.
In doubles, Brown stayed within arms reach of Cornell, with the pairings of Noah Hernandez and Lukas Phimvongsa along with Sam Feldman and James Lian fell 6-4. Alex Finkelstein and Zander Bravo suffered a 6-3 defeat in their doubles contest.
In singles, Noah Hernandez picked up the lone victory for Brown. Toby Luo fell in a three set contest at the No. 6 spot. Alex Finkelstein and Oliver Worth both forced a tiebreak in their respective matches, both ultimately lost the point.
Brown will be back in action on Friday, Apr. 11 when they travel to Harvard before hosting Dartmouth on Sunday, Apr. 13 at the Pizzitola Sports Center.
