Women’s Basketball Readies for Final Roadtrip of Regular Season at Yale

PROVIDENCE, R.I - The Brown women's basketball team will travel to New Haven, Conn. on Saturday to take on the Yale Bulldogs for their final contest of the regular season. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. at John J. Lee Amphitheater.
Saturday's game will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

Scouting the Bears (11-15, 5-8 Ivy)
- The Bears played back-to-back contests on the road last weekend against Columbia (Feb. 28) and Cornell (Mar. 1). Brown suffered a 44-70 loss to the Lions, but bounced back with a 38-36 win over Cornell the following day.
- Senior center Gianna Aiello posted her fourth double-double of the season, and of her career in Brown's win over Cornell on Mar. 1. She netted 15 points, and grabbed 16 rebounds against the Big Red. Aiello last posted double-doubles on Nov. 23 against Rhode Island (13 points, 14 rebounds).
- Junior guard Grace Arnolie rounded out the weekend with 70 minutes of playing time, racking up 30 points between games. Arnolie led the Bears in scoring alongside senior guard Isabella Mauricio against the Lions, and Aiello against the Big Red.
- Arnolie enters Saturday's contest on a four-game double-figure streak. This marks Arnolie's second time this season scoring double-figures in three or more games in a row.
- Brown currently leads the Ivy League in team free throw percentage with .756. The Bears have made 267 free throws this season. Arnolie also leads the conference in free throw percentage at .868, with 79 made free throws.
- Aiello has worked her way back into the Ivy League's charts in rebounding and field goal percentage. She sits at second in rebounding with 8.0 rebounds per game, but holds first in offensive rebounds with 2.7 per game. Aiello ranks second in field goal percentage with .571.
- The Bulldogs also played in back-to-back contests last weekend against Cornell and Columbia. Yale earned a 48-46 win over the Big Red on Friday, Feb. 28, and suffered a 49-77 loss to the Lions on Saturday, Mar. 1.
- Mackenzie Egger led the Bulldogs in scoring for the weekend, posting 30 points across both games. Egger also had 15 rebounds and nine assists.
- Yale ranks third in the Ivy League in team offensive rebounds, averaging 12.1 offensive rebounds per game. Egger has helped the Bulldogs earn this spot, as she leads the conference in rebounding with an average of 9.3 per game.
- The Bulldogs' earned their first conference win back on Jan. 20 against Dartmouth, 70-67. Yale did not earn another conference win until a month later, where they posted back-to-back wins over Dartmouth (Feb. 22) and Cornell (Feb. 28).
- The Bears have a 51-46 overall record against the Bulldogs that dates back to the 1973-74 season.
- Brown is currently on a three game win-streak against Yale that began last season.
- The two teams met earlier this season on Jan. 11, where Brown earned a 77-69 win over the Bulldogs.
- The fourth seed for Ivy Madness has yet to be determined, and will come down to the final game of the regular season.
- The following must occur for Brown to secure the fourth seed: Brown must win against Yale, Princeton has to defeat Penn, and Brown's NET ranking must be higher than Penn's on Sunday morning.
