Chen and Bililies Ready for 2025 NCAA Championships

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Two fencers – Jessie Chen (foil) and Soph Bililies (sabre) – are set to compete in the 2025 NCAA Championships on the campus of Penn State this weekend.
Fans can watch Saturday's action on YouTube with Sunday's final rounds streaming on ESPN+.
Chen and Bililies will compete on Saturday (Mar. 22) and Sunday (Mar. 23) in the National Championship.
Chen earns her first berth to the NCAA Championships after a strong sophomore season. She most recently finished eighth at the NCAA Northeast Regional. She compiled 11 wins at the Northeast Regional. Chen also posted a tenth-place finish at the 2025 Ivy League Championships with an 8-10 overall record.
Chen's weekend begins with Rounds 1-3 on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. Rounds 4 and 5 will start at 9 a.m. on Sunday with the semifinals and finals set for 1:30 p.m.
Bililies qualifies for her first NCAA Championship after a sophomore campaign that saw her finish fourth at the 2025 NCAA Northeast Regional. She compiled a 16-11 overall record at the Regional and took seven wins in the Round of 12 to finish fourth.
Bililies kicks off the Championship at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Rounds 4 and 5 will start at 9 a.m. on Sunday with the semifinals and finals set for 1:30 p.m.
This season marks the second straight year that a pair of Bears were selected to compete in the Championships. It's the eighth time in program history multiple Bears have competed. Bililies and Chen are the 20th and 21st Bears to compete at Nationals since 1995.
