
Luo Sits in 12th Place After Day One of NCAA Women’s Fencing Championship

South Bend, Ind. - Brown Fencing is in 17th place after day one of the 2026 NCAA Women's Fencing Championship at the Joyce Center. Ashley Luo (epee) collected seven wins and sits in 12th after three rounds, and Jessie Chen (foil) is in 22nd with three wins.
In epee, Lou picked up a win in round one, two in round two and a perfect 4-0 in round three.
In foil, Chen registered the first of three wins during the second round (video of win).
The final day of the NCAA Women's Fencing Championship begins at 9 a.m. on Friday with rounds four and five.
