
Luo, Chen Collect 12 Wins at NCAA Women's Fencing National Championship

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Brown placed 17th at the 2026 NCAA Women's Fencing Championship, totaling 12 points across foil and epee competition at the Joyce Center. Ashley Luo (epee) concluded her first NCAA Championship with eight total victories to place 18th overall, and Jessie Chen (foil) collected four wins in her second consecutive nationals appearance to finish 23rd.
The Bears' 17th-place finish is the third straight top-20 finish for the Brown Women's Fencing. The last time Brown finished in the top 20 in three consecutive years was 2011-15.
Brown finished 25-8 overall in its first season under head coach Charlene Kai Yan Liu.
