
Chen, Luo Set to Compete at NCAA Women’s Fencing Championship

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Jessie Chen (foil) and Ashley Luo (epee) will compete at the 2026 NCAA Women's Fencing Championship from March 19-20 at the Joyce Center in South Bend, Indiana, on the campus of Notre Dame.
Chen earned her second consecutive NCAA Championship appearance after a strong junior season that featured an 11th-place finish at the NCAA Northeast Regional. Luo qualified for the first time, following a sixth-place finish at regionals.
Chen begins competition with Rounds 1-3 on Thursday at 11 a.m. Rounds 4 and 5 follow on Friday at 9 a.m. Luo opens her competition at 9 a.m. on Thursday, with Friday's schedule starting at 9 a.m.
Two Bears qualified for nationals for the third consecutive season.
