Jack Kelly, Rowland Lawver Qualify for NCAA Championships

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's swimming and diving had two athletes qualify for the NCAA Championships in Federal Way, Washington from March 26-29.
Jack Kelly qualified for the NCAA Championships for the third-straight year, qualifying in both the 100 and 200 breaststrokes. Kelly's time 1:49.80 in the 200 breaststroke is the third-fastest time in the NCAA and his time of 50.60 in the 100 breaststroke is the fourth-best time in the nation.
Rowland Lawver qualified for the championships in the 1-meter diving competition, finishing third in the NCAA Zone A Qualifiers. Lawver will also be able compete in the 3-meter competition after finishing sixth in the Zones.
Freshman Marton Nagy was selected as the seventh alternate for the championships. He will be an alternate in the 200 IM after posting he 32nd-fastest time in the nation this season at 1:42.69.
