Men’s Basketball Drops Ivy League Contest at Dartmouth

HANOVER, N.H. - The Brown men's basketball team (14-12, 6-7) fell 78-58 at Dartmouth (14-12, 8-5) on Saturday afternoon inside Leede Arena.
The two sides traded baskets for the majority of the first half, Brown's largest lead was nine while Dartmouth's was five in the first half. Landon Lewis led all scorers with 16 points to go along with four rebounds. Lewis scored 16 of Brown's 31 first half points, 28 of Brown's 31 first half points came inside the paint.
The Bears took a 31-30 lead into halftime.
The Big Green opened the second half on a 16-4 run, giving them a 46-45 lead with 13:57 remaining in regulation. Dartmouth didn't look back as they built a lead as large as 23 with 3:40 remaining.
Brown outscored Dartmouth 50-36 inside the paint as Landon Lewis led all scorers with 22 points on 11-16 shooting to go along with seven rebounds.
As a team, Brown shot 2-21 from three-point range.
Brown will conclude the regular season when they welcome Yale on Saturday, Mar. 8. Tip-off is set for 2:00 p.m. inside the Pizzitola Sports Center.
