"It didn't go our way today, obviously it didn't go our way this season," Head Men's Basketball Coaching Chair Mike Martin '04 said. "I just said to our team I feel really good about our process, our culture, their attitude and this culture continues to get better each and every year."
In his final game as a Bear, Kino Lilly Jr. finished with a team-high 19 points to go along with four rebounds and five assists. The Glenn Dale, Md. native finished his career with 328 three-pointers made, the most in program history. He also walks away from Brown with 1,878 career points, the second-most in program history.
Yale led by as much as 14 with 11:02 remaining in the first half. Brown led on three separate occasions in the second half, with its largest lead being two points.
Adrian Uchidiuno finished the season with a career-high 10 points on 3-5 shooting from the floor as Lyndel Erold chipped in with eight points on 3-6 shooting from the floor and 2-5 shooting from three-point range in his final game as a Bear.
Brown outscored Yale 20-14 in the paint as Brown's bench outscored Yale's bench 24-11. Defensively, Brown had eight blocks and five steals.
"The seniors continued to be really coachable," Martin '04 added. They continued to show amazing commitment to our program and to their teammates. They had tremendous attitudes for all four years they were in our program. I'm lucky that I was able to coach them and they've definitely moved our program forward."
