Women’s Lacrosse Returns Home to Face Vermont on Saturday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown women's lacrosse team (3-0) will return to Stevenson-Pincince Field to welcome Vermont (2-2) on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and will be the Bears' Cancer Awareness Game.
Last Time Out
Brown moved to 3-0 for the second consecutive season under head coach Katrina Dowd with an 18-2 win at Sacred Heart (Feb. 23). Eight different Bears found the back of the net against Sacred Heart as five different players scored multiple goals.
Criqui Named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week
Senior Greta Criqui was named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week after scoring 10 goals in two games last weekend.
Criqui began the weekend with four goals in Brown's 22-6 win over Holy Cross (Feb. 21), all four of Criqui's shots found the back of the net. She also earned five draw controls in the win over the Crusaders.
Criqui then matched a career-high with six goals in Brown's 18-2 win at Sacred Heart to close the weekend, the Essex Falls, N.J. native also had one assist to go along with five draw controls against the Pioneers.
Criqui ranks second in the Ivy League with 3.67 goals per game.
Scouting Brown (3-0)
Brown will look to move to 4-0 for the first time since the 2014 season, through their first three games, the Bears have outscored their opponents 60-11.
The Bears' 60 total goals sits second in the Ivy League, their 16.3 goal margin tops the Ivy League. Along with Criqui, Carly Camphausen and Leah Caputo rank in the top-10 of the Ivy League with 2.67 goals per game.
Adele Atherton leads the Bears and ranks fourth in the Ivy League with 4.67 points per game. Criqui sits ninth in the Ivy League with 4.0 points per game.
On the defensive end, Brown's 3.67 goals against average and 65.6 save percentage paces the Ivy League. Claire Mahoney tops the Ivy League with a 70.4 save percentage.
Scouting Vermont (2-2)
Vermont enters Stevenson-Pincince Field looking to snap a two-game losing streak. Lydia Doraz leads the Catamounts with 10 goals and six assists, she's recorded multiple goals in all four games this season. Doraz ranks third in the America East with 4.0 points per game.
As a team, Vermont is averaging 11.6 goals per game.

Brown will hit the road to open Ivy League play at Cornell (Mar. 7) at 7:00 p.m. before traveling to Binghamton (Mar. 9) at 1:00 p.m.
