Men's Lacrosse Hosts #10 Georgetown in Non-Conference Clash

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown Bears (1-2, 0-0 Ivy League) host the 10th-ranked Georgetown Hoyas (2-2, 0-0 Big East) in a noon clash at Stevenson-Pincince Field on Saturday. Tomorrow afternoon's game will stream on ESPN+.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
- Brown enters Saturday after picking up the first win of the Jon Torpey era over the PC Friars last Saturday. The Bears opened the season with losses to Fairfield and Boston University.
- Brown's offense averages 6.33 goals per game and is led by senior Aidan McLane, who has six goals and seven points through three games.
- The man-up offense has two goals in five attempts to rank fifth in the Ivy League and tied for 30th nationally.
- Defensively, Brown ranks third in the conference and 23rd nationally with 8.33 goals against per game.
- Sophomore Connor Foley has started all three games in net for Brown and holds a .653 save percentage and 8.40 goals against average.
- Brown's man-down defense clicks at .556 (5-for-9) through three games.
- The Bears hold a .779 clear percentage and lead the Ivy League with a .705 opponent clear percentage.
- Georgetown enters Saturday with a 2-2 overall record and are ranked 10th in the nation per the USILA Coaches Poll.
- The Hoyas opened the season with a win over Loyola before falling to sixth-ranked Johns Hopkins. Georgetown then took a win over 13th-ranked Penn before falling 11-9 to top-ranked Notre Dame.
- Georgetown's offense averages nine goals per game to rank 52nd nationally.
- Fulton Bayman leads the team with eight goals and 13 points through four games. Aidan Carroll leads the team with six assists and is second on the team with 11 points.
- Georgetown's man-up offense has one goal in 11 attempts through four games.
- Defensively, Georgetown ranks 24th nationally with 8.50 goals against per game.
- Anderson Moore has started all four games in goal and holds a .485 save percentage and 8.57 goals against average.
- The Hoya man-down defense ranks sixth in the nation at .875 (7-8).

- Saturday marks the seventh meeting between Brown and Georgetown dating back to 1997.
