
Men’s Tennis Concludes ECAC Championships With Historic Win Over Delaware

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Brown men's tennis team delivered a historic performance on Sunday, defeating Delaware, 4-2, in its final competition at the ECAC Championships.
Lukas Phimvongsa set the tone with a straight set victory, followed by two come from behind victories from Noah Hernandez and Zander Bravo.
Alex Finkelstein secured the victory for the Bears in the top seed matchup. After sneaking by in the first set 7-6 (7-3), Finkelstein secured a dramatic second set tiebreak victory 7-6 (8-6) to clinch Brown's first ECAC win since 2020, 4-2.
The Bears hope to keep this momentum into their next competition when they travel to Queens, N.Y. to take on St. John's (Feb. 21).
