Queens, N.Y. - The men's tennis team secures a point against a tough St. John's squad, losing 6-1.

In doubles play, St. John's took control early ultimately securing the point. In Singles, the Bears began to find their footing, losing 4 matches in closely fought bouts. After winning the first set, Toby Luo came up just short in a third-set tiebreak 6-10. Continuing his early season dominance, Lukas Phimvongsa secured the lone point for the Bears, winning a 3 setter 6-2, 2-6, 6-4.

The Bears will look to finish the week strong when they host William & Mary and Siena this Sunday, February 23rd.
