
Men's Water Polo Goes 2-0 For Senior Day

PROVIDENCE, RI - The Bears won both senior day games at home against LIU and Iona on Sunday (Nov. 9)
LIU 13-8
The Bears started their senior day game off strong with the first goal of the game scored by Roberto Serrano. Ilias Stothart scored four goals for the Bears with Mac Berry scoring three goals during the game.Â
Daniel Hadar, Dominik Balla, and Jeremy Tachiki all had two assists.
Kole Newman blocked 13 goals from the Sharks, keeping the Bears ahead until the end.Â
Iona 17-10
Once again, the Bears started off game two strong with the first goal from Jaxson Tierney two minutes into the game. Tierney scored five goals for the team in total with assists as well. Stothart, Berry, and Griffin Tunney all scored three goals for the Bears, securing the team's early lead. Tunney also had six assists during the game.
Along with 13 saves, Dimitrios Kratimenos also clinched his fifth goal of the season from across the pool with just 0.1 seconds left in the first quarter.Â
What's Next?
The Bears will travel to New York, NY to play their last game of the regular season against Fordham at 11:30 a.m.
